ALFAMA
First, some sport (as usual in Lisbon, actually) : I walked to the Panteao Nacional. Good to know : Lisbon is called “7 hills” for a GOOD reason, trust me !
Igreja Sao Vicente da Fora
And I took the “Electrico” (Tram 28) to the Miradouro da Santa Luzia,
where you can enjoy a drink with a view 😉
After some roaming,
I took the Electrico again to Igreja Sé de Lisboa
Casa dos Bicos
Praça do Comercio
BAIRRO ALTO
Elevador da Gloria
At the top of the Elevador, you can enjoy the view
from the Miradouro de Sao Pedro de Alcantara
And roam in these beautiful streets
Assembleia da Republica – Estrela
BELEM
Mosteiro dos Jeronimos
Praça do Imperio
Padrao dos Descobbrimentos
Torre de Belem
Best times to go March-May / Sept-Oct
Getting around Bus, Metro, Tram, Taxi, Train
(The airport is close to the city, you can go with the Metro, or take a taxi)
Good deal ! The “Viva Viagem” card (included Bus, Metro, Tram, Elevador) 24h
for 6.50€
In case of very bad weather ! Centre Comercial Colombo
(Linha Azul, Colégio Militar/Luz)
My nice Airbnb location in Alfama 🙂
